At the moment we are looking for IT Service Desk Analyst for a few months contract in Frankfurt.

It's a short term contract, with possibility of extension. Onsite job in Frankfurt (Germany).

What is the project about

The IT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for IT Service Desk and Operations as defined in the Systems & Responsibility Matrix.


The goals for the Infrastructure / Operations management are to be learned from the IT Strategy.


Service Desk & Operations

Responsibility to offer a single point of contact to all service consumers to which all incidents and request can be reported to. Those tickets are to be tracked and treated in the 1st level (Service Desk). If necessary those tickets are to be escalated to 2nd//3rd level teams, which may be IT Infrastructure / Operations, other internal IT teams or vendors and manufacturers.

Furthermore operational routines (incl. start/end of day) as well as continuous monitoring of the entire IT landscape and user/rights administration for all IT systems need to be covered.


Tasks and responsibilities

  •  Running service desk and operations (see also section “Service Desk & Operations)


  • Efficient business communication to identify and understand requirements, manage expectations with special attention to re-usability of solutions


  • Promote centralization, standardization and sharing of solutions within and between the members of the SE whenever possible
  • Achieve synergies by use of SE-wide solutions
  • Procurement of IT goods/services within approved budgets in close collaboration with Head of IT Infrastructure / Operations
  • Complete, consistent, understandable, result-oriented, methodical planning and realization of tasks
  • Pro-actively propose on efficiency and/or user-friendliness improvements
  • Manage & optimize structures and processes (orientation to ITIL).


  • Strong customer / service orientation
  • Working experience in this role (> 3 years, senior level)
  • Broad IT knowledge and willingness to improve knowledge
  • Ability to handle separate tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel, mainly within western Europe
  • Sensibility regarding working in a multi-cultural international environment
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Deep, broad IT experience, especially in the areas of IT infrastructure and office/productivity software
  • IT process (ITIL) and governance (COBIT) management certifications are of advantage
  • Language requirements: English mandatory. Russian and/or German would be desirable.
