Cloud Security DevOps Engineer

Job description

We are seeking for experienced Cloud Security DevOps Engineer who is willing to work with our client - one of the largest banking and financial institution in the world. Currently we are building the Global Cyber Security Team as client is transferring to the cyber world. As a Cloud Security DevOps Engineer you will secure solutions and will be responsible for the cloud management, monitoring and data center automation around platforms that support the world’s largest financial enterprises.


  • Performing top-level technical assessments of existing cloud security architectures, processes, projects.

  • Developing security and compliance tools in support of DevOps processes
  • Evaluating both, new and existing, cloud security solutions in support of deployments to one of the Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).

  • Providing security expertise and technical reviews of applications that are being moved to one of the Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and auditing the infrastructure for security misconfigurations.

  • Solution and build Cloud Native Detective and Responsive controls in AWS, Azure and/or GCP that enforce the security baseline at scale, and when necessary integrate with open source and vendor tools.

  • Implementing and integrating vendor-provided Cloud Security solutions in cooperation with vendors, client staff and contractors.


  • Around 4-5 years of experience in DevOps and software engineering. 
  • Around 2 years of experience in developing or administering the security of cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and being able to clarify complex concepts.
  • Extensive knowledge of several key security practices in access control, application security, network security, security architecture and security strategy.
  • Ability to successfully work as a part of a globally disparate team as well as work independently.
  • Proficiency with at least one high level developer language.
  • Experience in working in complex, diverse landscapes (business, technology, regulatory, partners, providers, geographies).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as: PowerShell, Perl, Python, Bash, etc.
  • Certification in highly technical information security disciplines such as: CISM, CISSP, CCSP, CCNP, CCDE, CCIE Security or GIAC will be a great advantage.
